The Usage Method Of Sheep Feed

This product must not be fed alone. It should be mixed with other feed ingredients according to the recommended ratio provided by our company (see recommended formula or consult the technical department for a customized formula based on farm conditions).

When preparing feed, Ensure corn, wheat bran, soybean meal, etc., are fresh. Avoid moldy ingredients.

Provide clean, Warm water in winter and cool water in summer.

Q: How much feed do I give my sheep?

A: Our sheep feed is a supplement to a good quality forage diet. We recommend 1.5 lbs of feed per day per 100 lbs (1.50%) for all growing and finishing lambs and 2 lbs per day per 100 lbs (2.00%) for lactating ewes and breeding rams. When transitioning feed, change slowly over 10-14 days.

A: Sheep make excellent use of high-quality roughage stored either as hay or low-moisture, grass-legume silage or occasionally chopped green feed. Good-quality hay or stored forage is a highly productive feed; poor-quality forage, no matter how much is available, is suitable only for maintenance.
